How about trying to make some yummy treats? Here is a recipe to make my family's favourite quick treat... MUD PIES! Remember to get an adult help you when you work on the stove. For those of you who can't eat peanut butter, just leave it out, it will still work well. Measure the ingredients out accurately.

                                                      MUD PIES

2 cups of sugar

3 tablespoons cocoa powder

½ cup of peanut butter (DO NOT ADD THIS IF YOU HAVE A NUT ALLERGY)

5mls Vanilla Essence

125mls baking margarine or butter (114g or 4oz)

125mls milk

3 cups of oats

Pinch of salt

In a saucepan, combine sugar margarine, cocoa and milk. Boil for two minutes.

Add peanut butter (IF YOU ARE USING IT)

Remove from heat, add oats, vanilla and salt.

Drop  a large desert spoon of mixture onto a cookie sheet and leave to set. (If you can!)

If you want, you can add half a cup of raisins too.
