Indoor Athletics Competition
3rd March 2020 (all year groups)
Well done to my four Athletics Teams. The children competed in a mixture of field and track events, all track events being team based. The children showed fantastic team spirit and it was lovely seeing children race alongside others from different year groups and classes.
Our Year 3/4 boys and girl’s teams both came 4th out of 11 schools. They all tried so hard throughout the morning and I was especially proud of my year 3’s who were all really nervous before the event, having never competed for the school before.
Our Year 5/6 boys team came 2nd place, winning silver medals and our girls team came 3rd place winning bronze medals. Both teams competed against 12 other schools so an amazing result.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable day for all the 38 children who participated and I am incredibly proud of them as always. We have some phenomenal, young athletes from all year groups in the school.
