Year 6
Welcome to the Year 6 page. We look forward to sharing lots of great content on here for you.
Year 6 is a very important year. During this time, pupils take part in a PGL residential, visit the Transport Museum to explore the history of the Windrush generation, and travel to Cheshunt Football Stadium to learn about safety and community roles through Crucial Crew. They also meet visitors from both humanist and scientific backgrounds.
Throughout the year, we support children in developing independence, preparing for their SATs, and focusing on making strong progress. Pupils take on a variety of responsibilities, including helping in the library, contributing to the school council, and supporting younger year groups as OPAL ambassadors.
We prepare the children as best as possible to remember and celebrate their time in primary school, while helping them transition confidently into the next chapter of their education.
