Please keep sending us your photos, we love seeing what you're getting up to! Welcome to Year 5!
Dear parents and year 5 children,
Thank you for being so understanding during this unprecedented time, for all of us. We appreciate everything you are doing at home with your children to ensure they are still getting an education.
Please do not feel pressurised to complete a mountain of work on a daily basis just do as much as you can. All the work the children need to do is in the folders below titled: Home Learning - School Closure - Summer Term
Your child needs to keep up with their daily reading, times table and spelling practice.
Whilst school is closed, you can contact us on the following email addresses:
Mrs Tuck - Aspen@brooklandjm.herts.sch.uk
Mrs Greathead - Elder@brooklandjm.herts.sch.uk
Mrs Stewart - Cedar@brooklandjm.herts.sch.uk
It would be great to see what the children are getting up to while they are working during home learning, so please email class teachers photos of what the children are doing. We will put them up on this page (with parental permission) under the heading: School Closure Home learning Photos. Some photos may even make it on to Mr Douglas' weekly newsletter.
Thank you in advance for being so supportive of everything we are doing at school!
The Year 5 Team
Remember to: Have a check to see what you still need to have a go at from previous work uploads - this is all the curriculum content to be covered in year 5 (Science/Topic/RE/English/Maths).
We will continue to upload work for those extra busy beavers.
Please ensure some of the rights respecting activities are covered and that you have worked on all previously uploaded materials.
Here is a website which may help support with the materials that they offer.
Maths topics for revision and learning
